Responsible for answering incoming phone calls and scheduling patient appointments.
Serves as a liaison between patients and medical support staff by performing the following
duties.
1.Assists patients in scheduling a variety of appointment types.
2. Monitor follow up appointment work queues.
3. Oversee providers schedules and make changes when necessary.
4. Send necessary paperwork and information to patients for appropriate appointment types.
5. Enter patient demographics and insurance into computer system.
6. Communicate with other departments regarding patient records, insurance coverage and/or outstanding balances.
7. Performs other related duties as assigned.
