- Hematology: Use of Sysmex xt 2000i to analyze hematology samples. Manual counts performed for fluids. ESR set up manually.
- Coagulation: Use of Coag A Mate II to test samples for PT, PTT & Fibrinogen. Use of Vidas for testing D. Dimer samples. Use of Systex CA500 as backup instrument.
- Urine Analysis: Use of Clinitek Advantus for Urine Analysis. Confirmation for protein and bilirubin presence performed manually.
- Chemistry: Use of RXL Max, Expand and ACS for analysis of specimens. Drug screens performed on Expand. In charge of daily and weekly maintenance of RXL Max.
- Blood bank: tube method for type, screen, x-match, anti-body ID, and DAT analysis. Also, responsible for slitting units, de-frosting FFP and ordering Platelets when needed. Use of Hemocare for recording results.
- Microbiology: responsible for set up of urine, sputum, feces, wound, and other cultures. Also responsible for gram staining, ID of positive blood cultures and Rapid Strep testing as well as Mono testing.

- Serology: Mono testing, urine and Serum HCG testing performed using the corresponding kits.
- Coagulation: Use of CA500 for testing of samples for PT, PTT & Fibrinogen and D. Dimer.
- Urine Analysis: Manual analysis of urine samples.
- Chemistry: Use of Vitros950, Vitros250 and ACS for analysis of specimens. Drug screens performed with drug screen kits. SUDS testing with kit. In charge of cleaning and running controls on ACS.
- Blood Bank: tube method for type, screen, x-match, anti-body ID and DAT analysis. Also, responsible for splitting units, de-frosting FFP and ordering Platelets when needed. Tests performed for patients requiring Rhogam injections pre and post partum.
- Microbiology: Responsible for set up of urine, sputum, feces, wound and other cultures.
- Phlebotomy: blood collection of patients including newborns to elderly patients. PKU trained.
