Yair Krongrad

I created a program called, Connection for Community: Creating Bonds and Fulfillment Through Fun, where I brought games and socialized with the elderly. On Saturdays I went to the Frederic Fleming House—a government funded residence for formerly homeless senior citizens suffering from mental illness. This facility is lacking in resources for any amenities, programs, or entertainment. The seniors do not have family members to come visit and the residence does not have adequate staff members to spend time with the seniors. This leads to endless hours of isolation, loneliness, and depression. I created Connection for Community to bring companionship, joy, and vitality to their lives. Over the sessions I am proud to have witnessed the seniors transforming from silently sitting on their own to laughing and talking to each other and me. I also show my leadership abilities by bringing teen volunteers to assist and socialize as well. I personally feel a deep sense of connection as I spend ongoing time with the seniors.

Worked independently studying systems of governance. Created/presented capstone project Democracy in Canada vs Iran about erosion of global democracy.

Wrote 2025 Legal Roadmap for “Tech & Law Israel” newsletter. Research legal tech world news for head of marketing. Wrote articles for Lawflex website
