As a combat engineer, we are often the first ones called when a unit needs to move, fight, or survive in tough terrain. You become the person who can blow something up, build something up, or clear something out, fast. I was taught how to deal with heavy physical demands, like digging, lifting, carrying gear, and operating equipment. I get to improvise solutions using whatever tools, materials, or terrain you have to get the job done. Managed inventory of equipment and supplies, including tracking usage, conducting cycle counts, and maintaining accurate records. Followed safety guidelines and procedures, and trained new personnel on the proper use of equipment and techniques used in the field.
