Team: Eligibility Design

Achievement/Tasks:

• Collaborated and managed small team of eligibility designers.
• Scheduled daily/weekly meetings to track progress of designs.
• Oversaw and developed eligibility designs to implement integration of LA county into CalACES.
• Designed, planned, reviewed, and implemented eligibility migration items.
• Assisted management and supervised work of programmers and designers with tasks and performance meeting target goals.
• Devised and executed test plans to assess software functionality, integrity, and security based internal policies and timelines.
• Coordinated and optimized designs with other teams across project (Correspondence, Fiscal, Batch, Online, System Test, Reports).

• Learned many welfare programs (CalFresh, CalWORKs, Medi-Cal, Foster Care) and became primary point of contact for questions relating to welfare programs, and project implementation for determination of eligibility for programs.
• Improved system performance through refactoring SQL queries while building out large amounts of data.

• Participated in weekly rotations for monitoring Assembly Test build environments for development teams. Perform requests for rebuilding or redeploying AT environments, daily regression tests, and diagnosing environment issues.
