· Assist physicians in wound care assessment and treatments.
· Complete required forms and documents under company policy and state and federal regulations.
· Provide education to patients and their families regarding wound care management.
· New patient admission, recertification, and discharge.
· Offer direct patient care in their home including wound care for complicated wounds and wound VAC therapy.
· Provide compassionate care and education to adult and geriatric patients.
· Provide patient assessment and education on issues including diabetes, hypertension, wellness, wound care, diet management, and medication education.
· Provide medication true IV therapy and PICC line care.
· Perform venipuncture for blood tests.
· Provide direct patient care in the patient's home.
· Provide compassionate care to special needs pediatric patients including medication administration, wound care, G-tube care, tracheostomy care, ventilator, and ostomy care.
