  • My job as Operator 2 involves several functions and responsibilities, such as:
  • * Programming the different types of machines for operation. These duties may vary depending on the company's needs and the work order for the product to be built.
    * I must continuously monitor that all stations are stocked with raw materials so that workers can continue their production tasks and thus collaborate so that everyone can reach the day's goal.
    * I lead the safety team on my shift, giving talks every two weeks about the importance of personal and industrial safety in the building.
    * I also have access to the company email, so when an urgent need arises or a problem arises with the machines, I must escalate this information to the responsible department so they can come and resolve it as quickly as possible.
    * I consider myself my immediate supervisor's right-hand man, as I support him in many other roles and skills I've learned over the past four years. In areas where he requests my help or when I see he's really busy, I help maintain order in the area, both by continuously moving the baskets with finished materials.
    * I verify the quality of the product and sign the documents authorizing these orders to be transferred to the next work area.
