My name is Yaroslav, but it may be easier for you to call me Yaro. I am originally from Ukraine. I have a wonderful wife and a newborn daughter who is just a few months old.

I arrived in the United States in September 2024 through the United for Ukraine program, after my homeland was brutally attacked. Since 2014, and especially with the full-scale invasion in 2022, Ukraine has endured unimaginable hardships: bombings of homes and schools, attacks on civilians, and widespread war crimes.

I am a proud veteran of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. From 2015, I served in many military operations defending my country. Unfortunately, due to multiple injuries, I can no longer actively participate in the resistance. For health reasons and to ensure the safety of my family, we made the difficult decision to relocate to the U.S.

Before the war, I gained valuable experience in several fields. I am a skilled and professional driver capable of operating and maintaining various types of vehicles. I also have experience working as a cook in restaurant kitchens, and I served in a variety of positions during my military career.

I am a fast learner, highly adaptable, disciplined, responsible, ambitious, and results-oriented.
I am deeply grateful to the United States for giving me and my family a chance to live in a country where freedom, safety, and opportunity are real.

Currently, I am seeking to transition to a new job that will allow me to spend more time with my wife and newborn daughter.
