  • To deliver this, the whole process includes following up with manufacturing company, daily email communication and excellent team working skill. Arranging the collection and shipment of goods through Sea and/or Air Freight by contacting and following up with various forwarders
  • Also facilitating payment to the supplier and the forwarders on time
  • Collecting payments Letter of Credit (LC), Cash Against Document (CAD) and/or Cash from customers on behalf of Impex Solutions FZco
  • Documentation: Opening of new Import and Export Files for each logistics operation. The import files will be equipped with information like Djibouti import customs document, customs fee invoice, port due invoice, container handling and transporting invoice, commercial invoice of a supplier, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of health analysis and other necessary documents
  • Whereas export files will include documentations like commercial invoice, packing list, Ethiopian customs declaration (ECD), loading cost, Djibouti export customs document, container interchange document and more
  • Based on the documents in each file, payment request will be prepared to the customers
  • Following up, tracking of the opened files and updating the Company Tracker Excel Spreadsheet every day, as excellent proficiency of keeping a file is a major skill for smooth operation of the company and its profitability
  • Accounting: Handling different financial activities of the Company. This includes handling liquid cash, keeping signed cheque and cheque payment to customers
  • Settling payments of employees & daily laborers, as well as updating Tracker of Bank/Cash activities and produce report every month to the general manager
