Projects

ANDROID APPLICATION FREQUENT FLYER:            04/2023

Oversaw the frontend development of the Frequent Flyer Android app, incorporating responsive design components and user-friendly interfaces to improve the user experience in general. Added state-of-the-art features including tailored notifications, interactive dashboards, and smooth navigation; this increased user happiness and engagement by 15%. Used user-centric design concepts to make sure the interface is easy to use and accessible. Closely collaborated with UX/UI designers to produce an interface that is both aesthetically pleasing and functionally efficient.

CONTAINERIZING AND DEPLOYING WEB APPLICATIONS ON KUBERNETES:                                                                       10/2023

Managed the deployment of AWS infrastructure and configured EC2 instances running Ubuntu Server. Ran containerized web apps on Kubernetes clusters under Rancher management, keeping a robust architecture with three pods present all the time for optimal performance. To enable continuous integration, a strong Jenkins CI/CD pipeline was created. Effective and scalable application updates are ensured by automated GitHub monitoring, Docker image building, and smooth Kubernetes deployment upon code changes.

DRIVER DROWSINESS DETECTION:                              01/2022

Created a Python-based program to identify driver tiredness, a major contributing cause to traffic accidents. Used computer vision techniques to track face landmarks and look for sleepiness indicators in the movement of the eyes. Developed the face identification and shape prediction solution using the dlib package, calculating the eye aspect ratio to determine the driver's level of awareness. Added useful features, such as an alarm system that sounds when it senses tiredness, to improve its application in real life. Evaluated the system's performance parameters, such as sensitivity and specificity, using a large dataset. The solution, which is offered as a Python script, encourages safer driving habits and provides flexibility for incorporation into cars or as a stand-alone device.
