Syeda Irm Bukhari

With 28 years of experience in human rights and gender equality, I am a passionate and results-driven social worker. I’ve held key managerial and administrative roles, leading women’s empowerment initiatives, capacity-building programs, and community development projects. Working with national and international organizations has shaped my ability to create lasting impact. I bring strong leadership, strategic vision, and a deep commitment to driving positive social change.

• Participated as expert trainer in program organized by Vite-N-Hope on 1st December-2003 on the (ECC’s_ an integrated project of Vite-N-Hope and UNICEF.
• Training experience of NGO’s working in different areas of health education.
• Experience in Organizational Management and Planning of different activities of NGO’s working in Lahore.
• Organized capacity building trainings of the different member organizations of PNPCR in 2008 and 2009 as expert trainer in program organized by Vite-N-Hope on 1st December-1998 with the collaboration of “Aurat Foundation” on the eve of World AIDS Day.
• Participated as expert of Human and Women Rights and delivered a lecture on “preventative strategy”.

• Provided counseling to the newly detected FSW’s and people of RLA-Lahore during two months point prevalence study (from 15th October to 14th December 1993) conducted by Vite-N-Hope with the collaboration of NACP.
• Provided counseling to the FSW’s their clients agents and family members of RLA-Lahore from March 1998 to February 2000, during the “Women Health Project” executed by Vite-N-Hope with the collaboration of UNICEF.
• Providing counseling to sexually exploited children (SEC) of sex workers from 15th October 2004, to during the project of “Intervention for Recovery and Re-Integration of Sexually Exploited Children in selected areas of Lahore, Pakistan.
• Counseling experience to the raped girls at community level since October 2004, during the project of rehabilitation of sexually exploited women.
