Summary

32 years old I’m a QA Analyst with 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance. I’m passionate about building stable and reliable products that truly work for people. Over the years, I’ve worked across industries like banking, web platforms, mobile apps, and internal systems, adapting easily to different environments and challenges.

I’ve had the opportunity to work in Agile teams within both large corporations and small startups, closely collaborating with Scrum Masters, developers, and Product Owners. I value communication and teamwork especially in remote and hybrid settings and I get involved in every stage of the testing cycle: from analyzing requirements and executing test cases to reporting bugs and validating final delivery. I started my journey as a Software Tester and, through continuous learning, grew into a QA Analyst role. This path has given me a strong foundation in functional testing, database validation, and API testing (SOAP/REST). Every step has reinforced my commitment to quality and my passion for learning.

Tools & Technologies:

  • - Jira | Sprint planning, bug tracking, ticket lifecycle
  • - Xray | Test case management and regression planning
  • - BDD with Gherkin | Collaborative scenarios and documentation
  • - MySQL | Database queries and backend validation
  • - Postman & SoapUI | API functional testing
  • - Excel | Reporting and documentation
  • - Slack | Team communication

Expertise:

  • - Manual Testing | Test case design, execution, regression cycles
  • - UI Testing | Functional and end-to-end testing
  • - Bug Reporting | Strong understanding of the defect life cycle
  • - Agile Methodologies | SCRUM, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives

I believe in continuous learning and self-improvement as a QA professional. I’m currently focused on expanding my skills in test automation to bring even more value to the teams I collaborate with. I’m looking for new challenges where I can contribute with dedication, curiosity, and a strong quality mindset to build impactful software products.

QA Analyst

UPEX
06.2024 - Current

I currently work as part of the QA team at UPEX, assigned to a project for an e-commerce platform developed for an external client. Unlike previous roles, here I'm fully integrated into a complete Scrum team that includes developers, product analysts, a Scrum Master, and fellow testers. This has helped me strengthen my collaboration in Agile environments and contribute from a more structured quality assurance perspective.

Project: E-commerce Platform (External client)

My main responsibility is to ensure the product’s functional quality by planning, executing, and tracking manual tests. I use Xray for test management and Jira to track issues and sprint progress. The project’s goal is to deliver a seamless, reliable online shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • - Design and execute functional test cases aligned with sprint deliverables.
  • - Actively participate in Agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • - Perform Smoke, Sanity, and Regression testing in iterative cycles.
  • - Log and manage bugs clearly, collaborating closely with developers.
  • - Apply test design techniques such as equivalence partitioning and boundary value analysis.
  • - Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and detected defects.

Environment & Tools:

  • Jira
  • Xray
  • Scrum
  • Manual testing
  • Functional QA

Software Tester

uTest
03.2022 - 06.2024

While working on the uTest platform, I participated in a dedicated project for an external online store, collaborating directly with the client and developer. There was no formal QA team, so I took full responsibility for the testing process, offering a critical view of the user experience.

Project: E-commerce Platform (External client)

I conducted end-to-end (E2E) testing covering the entire user journey—from browsing and product selection to checkout and order confirmation. My detailed approach allowed me to identify critical issues that would have impacted the purchase flow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • - Performed functional testing across desktop and mobile environments.
  • - Conducted exploratory testing focused on usability and navigation flow.
  • - Reported bugs with clear and technically accurate documentation.
  • - Used the client’s internal tools and Excel to track tests and document results.
  • - Coordinated directly with the client and developer to address issues and prioritize fixes.

Tools & Environment:

  • Client’s internal platform
  • Desktop and mobile devices
  • Excel
  • Direct communication with client and developer

Achievements:

  • Identified critical bugs in payment validation and cart navigation.
  • Delivered full functional coverage independently, bringing real value to the product.
