Work History
Project Coordinator
RnD Tax Incentives
01.2022 - Current
I am currently working from home as a Project Coordinator. I first began overseeing all of our clients' information using Microsoft Excel and kept each client account up to date. I was responsible for contacting each client via email or phone to request the necessary documentation required for their Employee Retention Tax Credit (“ERTC”) project. Eventually, I became part of the first initial meeting calls, known as discovery calls, with new clients to gather their information, and over time, I conducted these meetings myself. I used the DocuSign software to send out our agreements right after each discovery call to clients. I worked with the compliance department and clients throughout each ERTC project until reaching completion. I took care of the scheduling of result call meetings between the client and a qualified member to go over their ERTC calculations. Conducting results call meetings also became part of my weekly responsibility. I delivered our clients’ ERTC packets via email with instructions on how to submit their filings and addressed any questions our clients had. Some other data entry tasks involve keeping track of the certified tracking information by updating each account once the packets are delivered. I have learned to use the Dropbox software, where we keep our clients’ files and documents.
As the ERTC filing deadlines approached, I transitioned to helping with the appeal aspect of our clients’ accounts. Requiring good note-taking skills to gather our clients' ERTC qualifications, to then draft those notes into our clients’ declaration for their appeal packet preparation. I assisted with other important documents that are to be submitted as part of our clients’ appeal packets. Requiring my detail-oriented qualities. Like the discovery and result call meetings, I eventually conducted appeal meetings myself. I regularly worked with Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat for our document preparation and editing. I have applied my customer service abilities throughout my job tenure, which has helped build strong and genuine connections with all our clients.
Office Assistant and Receptionist
Valley Chrome Plating, Inc.
01.2019 - 01.2022
I worked as an office assistant and receptionist. I oversaw the invoicing of daily shipments, scheduled freight company pickups, and filled out each bill of lading for shipments. I serialized each of the bumpers that would get built, which can range from 250 to 400 bumpers a day. I assisted the front desk whenever we had a customer walk in or any visitor. I monitored the status of each bumper by using Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and updated its status daily. I have experience working with the software Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Sage. I answered a multi-line phone and forwarded calls to the right destination. I scanned, filed, faxed, and printed out paperwork as needed.
Assistant
Organic Pastures Dairy Co.
01.2016 - 01.2018
I worked at their accounting office as an assistant. I entered data for production, inventory, and dairy feed every week. I also entered weekly invoices using QuickBooks. I created weekly reports for inventory, production, and feed using the software Microsoft Excel. I got to work with the ERMS software whenever the employee in charge of using this software for inventory tracking or inventory requests was off for the day or on vacation. I checked the daily mail and did the daily deposit online or in person at the bank. I gave out employee checks, scanned, filed, faxed, and faxed paperwork when needed. I worked at their mini store and assisted any customer who came in to purchase a product. I also answered phones using a multi-line phone.
After-school Tutor
California Teaching Fellows
01.2011 - 01.2014
I worked at Tranquillity Elementary School as an after-school tutor. I worked with K-1st grade students. I helped with their homework as well as organizing fun after-school activities. I interacted with the kids’ parents every day and built connections with them. I also chaperoned whenever we had an after-school field trip. Lastly, I was one of the two tutors who were chosen to become CPR certified.
