  • Provided support and knowledge to the McOpco stakeholders and employees, validate work authorization documents and expiration dates. Ensuring I9's are complying by auditing, tracking and updating expiration dates.
  • Reverify employee’s personal information on Social Security Administration website. Updating necessary fields in Privilege Filling System.
  • Sending daily emails to stores for any pending or open issues.
  • Handle incoming calls from staff employees and crew employees regarding failed verification, questions about the I9 open issues,work authorization and background checks.
  • Completed applicant assessment questions for applicants who had convictions and sending the assessment to the legal team for further review.
  • Set up Astute cases for data changes and update information in Oracle.
  • Respond to emails from Restaurant Managers, OPS or HR regarding open issues for I9’s.
  • Assisted managers who needed to know if an employee was eligible for a work authorization extension.
  • Assisted welcome day twice a month at our main office McDonald’s Head Quarters. Met with staff employees to verify their documentation and complete their I9 in Guardian and recently in Equifax.
  • Submitted employees to E-Verify for those who worked in an E-Verify state. Follow up with manager to request documents presented on I9 to verify if that was a photo match. If the case resulted in TNC, follow up with the manager to review the letter with employee and make sure everything was correct. If any of the information was incorrect on the I9, we would set up an amendment and have the manager or employee approve.
  • Worked in a project with my team to complete thousands of electronic I9’s and audit the I9’s to make sure they’re completed properly. Set up meetings via teams to complete I9’s for employees who worked remotely. Set up employee’s profiles in Equifax and emailed packet for employees to complete their portion of their I9.
  • Created reports in Guardian system for work authorization and added those records in Privilege Filling system. Also follow up with those employees whose work authorization was expired.
  • Set up access in Guardian and Equifax for managers, OPS and HR to have access to complete and audit I9’s.
  • Created report in Perfect compliance for pending and open issue I9’s who had been completed or updated and sending it to the team for their daily processing.
  • Audit daily I9’s who had been completed in the stores or at MHQ. Update necessary fields in Privilege filling system.
  • Sending manual emails to staff employees for pending or open issues with their I9.
  • Worked directly with Immigration and legal team regarding new updates for work authorization. Emailed documents received from employees for further review.
