Robocar: ROS, Localization and Obstacle Detection: MAE148 project focuses on integrating obstacle detection with ROS to enable autonomous vehicle movement. We utilized SLAM for mapping, employing laser scans to create a detailed environment map. For obstacle detection, we incorporated DepthAI-ROS, which allows efficient 3D/2D object detection and seamless communication with ROS. Additionally, we implemented AMCL for localization, combining DepthAI with ROS2 node packages.
The Garlic Notes: Insights and Reflections for Programmers: CSE110 project, we created a journal for developers using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. This journal allows users to record their work processes and moods. Throughout this project, I not only applied what I learned in class but also picked up some invaluable skills. I learned how to communicate effectively with my teammates, tackle troubleshooting and debugging challenges, and—perhaps most importantly—manage my time efficiently.
