Description: The project I designed and led was an innovative program that provides a smart solution aimed at assisting patients with Alzheimer's by constraining their hand movements to prevent self-harm.
Technologies Used: Arduino modules, 3D printing, laser cutting, APP design
Highlights: Developed an algorithm analyzing data collected by the gyroscope, filtering and smoothing the wave drawn by calculating the SRSS value. Designed and developed the phone APP assisting the gloves.
Outcome: A pair of smart gloves with all functions desired (restrict hand movement, fall detection, health data monitoring, alarm system). Won two regional prices.
Experiences
Designed and developed a battleship game algorithm in C++ which allows users to play battleship games with another user, a random AI, or a cheated AI.
Developed a center-seeking function in Python that uses k-means clustering algorithm to find the center of point clusters.
Developed a Python program to plot students' grades, find the trend, and do predictions by using the method of least squares.
Worked with team to identify areas of improvement and devised solutions based on findings.
