Hardworking student who was focused too much on GPA, but neglected the importance of school integrity policies. I have cheated on my course previously and have been punished with a year's suspension. However, the severe consequences made me realize how important it is to maintain academic integrity. Cheating breaks the fairness of the whole class and is unfair to the other students who really worked hard to prepare for the exams, an underserved grade will simply ruin everyone's efforts. Still, there are a lot of students attempting to make such mistakes, I think with my personal experience, I can help a huge number of them avoid doing so. Also for those who cheated and have already gotten caught, I can hearten them and cheer them up since I know that as long as we learn from mistakes, everything will be fine.
