Work in Mobile Identity team under amazon core retail Identity Services department. My team owns the mobile SDK (both android & iOS), which is used to handle authentication & security related work flows. The SDK is used by all Amazon apps running on multiple android platforms and devices (Kindle tablets, Amazon Echo devices, Fire TV). The SDK supports more than 100 teams in Amazon and is used by billions of Amazon customers
Tech-lead in mobile identity team, lead several across identity projects such as Person centric amazon to bring profile based amazon account experience. Amazon Authenticator, which is to leverage device biometric to securely protect amazon account for reducing possibility of account take overs Passkey project to introduce secure passwordless experience for amazon customers’ sign-in process
Wrote and maintained unit tests and functional tests to ensure the code quality
Apart of main developer role in the company, I also worked as Amazon cyber security certifier, which is a role to help different teams across amazon to do security reviews on their applications/products. Analyzing threat model for different team’s systems and identifying attack surfaces. Also help validate security risk mitigation and prepare incident response plan for security related topics.
