Reasons to choose me @ Peace Parenting

· I am a proud follower of @Peace Parents and I love the purpose, the vibe, and the gentle way of spreading awareness of P.D.A and autism. The growth of @Peace Parents is meaningful to me because gives me hope of a more understanding, and purposefully inclusive world for neurodivergent children to live in.

· Mother of a 7 years old PDA AUDHD.

I am a mother of three children. The eldest daughter is 16, the second son is 14 and the youngest is 7. I have to re-invent myself often to keep up the good work with my children. Choosing to prioritize his needs (PDA child) against societal pressure is not an easy task, which has become a second nature to me with lots of practice, books, workshops, videos and keeping an open mind to everything that align with my purpose to be helpful to my child and others. @Peace Parents helped my child’s psychologist and behavior modification provider to have more understanding about PDA. This was significant for me because many other children’s need are now being met thanks to your efforts spreading awareness.  I am passionate about spreading awareness as well.

I am representing all the parents searching for support, validation, and a seance of belonging while being presented with adverse challenges.

· Teacher of neurodivergent children

My experience helping children discover their love for learning has been marvelous and rewarding. I teach preschool and help with the transition from home to school. We learn throughout our senses and focus on emotional intelligence and growth mindset development. My main goal is for the children to relate school and learn with fun play. We also teach basic ASL and incorporate nonverbal students.

· Purposeful communicator

Teaching requires me to communicate in a gentle way delicate subjects, and so far, I have been successful. Having the child’s best interests at heart and the specific needs of each family acknowledged, its of outmost importance for the families to feel supported, understood, encouraged, empowered, and praised for their strengths and efforts. Helping parents to connect with support networks and giving them access to the necessary information can shift the caregivers’ perspectives and can help meet the child’s unique needs. My purpose is to help the parents become advocates of their children and filling them with confidence to educate others like @Peace Parents and I do.  I consider my verbal and non verbal communication skills top game perceiving myself as charismatic, optimistic, confident and a receptive listener.

· Creatively solution-oriented perspective

Being a mother of a PDA child has transformed everything into a possibility. Strewing is his way of learning and providing possibilities my way of teaching. We have invented many things like the emotions traffic light (Red *angry- stop, do not say it and breathe/ Yellow *excited -breathe slowly and Green *calm – do it and say it) instead of the red, yellow, green behavioral chart that naturally triggers him. We have turned “problems and obstacles” into tools to reach our desired results because mistakes help us learn and grow.  I am skilled in anticipating potential issues and working around them.

· Non judgmental and compassionate

This is my second strongest quality. I honor my journey and everyone else’s. Everyone who knows and understands something will act accordingly, we do not gain from pointing fingers to the ones still learning. Everyone’s abilities and disadvantages are different and we all should strive towards being a helping hand.  I experience that looking at things objectively and without judgement is the easiest way to be in a position to help anyone.

· Life long learner

My strongest quality. I am curious by nature and a flexible thinker. The need for learning is real. My favorites books are Brain- Body Parenting, Whole Brain Child, Lost at School, How To Talk So Little kids Will Listen and How To Listen So little Kids Talk, Self Regulation Interventions and Strategies, Parenting From The Inside Out, Declarative Language Handbook, The Explosive Child,  Beyond Behaviors. I’m open to explore books of related topics and learn from any source needed .  No matter what I put my mind to I choose to do it passionately and now  I am honored to grow along @Peace Parents. Learning is my passion, spreading awareness and understanding my purpose, and I am also a teacher. My goal is to collaborate and grow within the company as long as it takes until I get to a position where I can help  others grow as well.

· Experienced with social media and tech savvy.

I use my social media to learn and synergize with other parents. Involved in Homeschooling sites and communities, parents of children with disabilities, teachers/ daycare's pages and everyone who can be in a caregiver position. I can help the company reach the desired audience and increase social media following because I am familiar with the needs of each group. Only have personal accounts at the moment and willing to create a business profile for representing @Peace Parents as needed. I can be an asset monitoring and replying to comments in a timely manner since I am well versed navigating all platforms. My spouse of 20 years is also a computer programmer and he is my right hand at every tech move.

· Committed with work ethics.

My job must make my family and I proud. The better I perform in the company the more people we are going to reach as we grow. My trust in @Peace Parents is huge, and I see It’s potential to be of service and can’t help but to see myself reflected. I am committed to learn, collaborate, and perform all administrative functions at the best of my habilities
