Work History

Partner of an International Travel Agency

Lead Tour & Aviation
02.2025 - Current

During my experience as a partner of an international travel agency, I provided services to the group of international students who frequently need air tickets and people on business trips by being able to obtain air tickets and visa resources at lower prices than those on domestic platforms in China. At present, the company has obtained the authorized agency rights of 113 airlines and is also the core GSA general agent for Mahan Air, Air Serbia and Azerbaijan Airlines. Our team has established long-term and stable cooperative relationships with over 2,000 large and medium-sized enterprise customers and more than 5,000 small, medium and micro enterprises across the country. In the experience I am still engaged in, I am mainly responsible for the air ticket and visa services for international students and overseas Chinese. I can efficiently help international students solve difficulties in this regard. In addition, my major, Communication Studies, serves as an excellent bridge for helping international students integrate into the local community.

Assistant to the Dean

Chinese Flower & Bird Painting Research Institute
05.2022 - Current

Since becoming the assistant to the president of the Chinese Flower-and-Bird Painting Research Institute, my experience has been continuously accumulating. Chinese painting, as a traditional culture of China, has been understood and liked by people and spread outward in the process of continuous dissemination. Because I have a strong interest in Chinese painting, I especially enjoy promoting it. Due to the pandemic, I only attended part of my middle school and part of high school in New York, USA before. During this period, I served as the person who in charge with the art club at school and, together with the teachers, offered courses on Chinese painting, connecting Chinese students and foreign students through the bond of Chinese painting. In summary, during my tenure as the assistant to the dean, I have been conscientious and responsible in my daily work. Additionally, I have also appropriately integrated international students into the foreign community.

Summary

Leveraging my experiences with an international travel agency and the Chinese Flower & Bird Painting Research Institute, I've developed a well-rounded skill set ideal for supporting international students. At the travel agency, with access to 113 airlines' authorizations and a vast resource network, I specialized in resolving flight ticket and visa issues for international students, deeply grasping their cross-cultural travel pain points, from booking hurdles to urgent travel disruptions. During my time at the research institute and my studies in New York, I built bridges between Chinese and international students, like leading the art club and teaching Chinese painting courses, honing my cross-cultural communication and community-building skills. Essentially, I've mastered a needs-to-solutions cycle, which identifying students' pain points, mobilizing resources, and using empathetic communication to help them adapt. This combination of problem solving, resource coordination, and cross-cultural sensitivity makes me a strong candidate to empower international students to thrive in new environments.
