I am an experienced and knowledgeable Registered Nurse with formal training and education in nursing management and leadership, backed by over 25 years of dedicated service in the healthcare industry. My expertise spans patient care, teaching, and leadership within a dynamic nursing education program. As a proven leader, I am recognized for my success in influencing quality improvement initiatives and strategic planning to enhance healthcare services.

Armed with a Doctor of Nursing Practice, I am poised to contribute extensive skills and leadership acumen to support the continued growth and success of healthcare programs. In my current role as the Chair of Membership for the National Black Nurses Association (KMMBNA), I have played a pivotal role in strategic planning, successfully raising funding for nursing students in the Muskegon and Grand Rapids area. This experience underscores my commitment to fostering positive change and advancement within the nursing community.

Beyond administrative responsibilities, I am a dedicated nursing advocate. I have actively participated in educating the community on critical health issues, such as sickle cell anemia, demonstrating my passion for community outreach and education. Looking ahead, I am excited about the prospect of presenting upcoming town hall sessions on cardiovascular health, furthering my commitment to promoting community well-being.
