Accomplishments

● Account Receivable reconciliation finding that transportation cost was not being paid. Saved approximately $1,000,000 to the company.

● Participated in changing procedures for the billing department once i discovered that they were not following HIPAA regulations. Penalties for noncompliance are based on the level of negligence. These can range from $100 to $50,000 per violation (or per record), with a maximum penalty of $1.5 million per year.

● Established Policy and Procedures for grants to insure proper utilization of funds. Avoiding penalties for overspending or having to return funds.

● Improved Account Receivables billing for student enrollment. Created an invoice to automatically calculate once enrollment numbers are entered, reducing time for generating the invoice, avoiding late fees.
