  • I work in the Level III community NICU at the trauma hospital in Santa Rosa,CA. I work night shift from 7p-7a.I also attend high-risk deliveries and admit newborns. The other two areas I float to are mother-baby and pediatrics. I'm also the scheduler for the NICU department.

  • This is the hospital that I started my nursing career. It is a teaching hospital.We have a 100 bed NICU with babies ranging from a Level II to Level IV. I worked in all levels and also served as charge nurse my last 7yrs there. I cross trained to mother-baby, pediatrics and GYN. These areas had 36 beds each all private rooms. I also helped with the staffing which was about 75-100 employees including the per diem. I served on several leadership committees and helped made policies for various units.
