Analysis of the Productive Chain.

I developed an analysis of the current conditions of the territory of Cumanayagua, a pre-mountainous municipality in the province of Cienfuegos, where it was possible to identify the weaknesses and strengths of each institution that produces construction materials, and thus formulate recommendations regarding productive chains for improvement. of the management and strengthening of the production capacities of construction materials for the local habitat in said municipality, this being the fundamental objective of the work. Likewise, an analysis of the execution costs of typical homes in the municipality is carried out and recommendations are proposed that allow reducing costs and increasing the final quality of each work. I was able to conceptualize the different aspects linked to the productive chains related to the local habitat and characterize the productive chain of the habitat in the Cumanayagua municipality, with the purpose of detecting critical points and proposing recommendations that contribute to the improvement of construction.

Analysis of the Layout of Roads of National Intere

I worked with the elements related to the road, and as a fundamental element we have the layout, which responds to a certain geometric design that is subject to rules, regulations, indications and other documents, and once executed, it has a direct impact on the speed with which vehicles circulate on the roads. With this research, the prediction models of the operating speed profile for rural roads of national interest with two lanes of circulation are established.

With the application of this model, those places where accidents may occur will be detected, as well as the geometric characteristics of the road that contribute to this problem, to take into account the improvements to be made or possible designs.

In this job I had to handle data provided by different transportation entities in the country. I was asked to lead a small group of Civil Engineering students to show them the working methodology and this would serve as a basis for future projects.

Project for HZS40 Concrete Plant in Cayo Santa Mar

In this work I had to reverse engineer the automatic system installed in one of the concrete plants in Cayo Santa María and propose a SCADA system that adjusts to the technological requirements of this process. For this purpose, the study of the CQM1H automaton was deepened and a thorough analysis of the program and electrical connections was carried out, to determine the sequence of steps that are executed during the automatic operation of the Plant. Finally, the main screen of the proposed SCADA is presented in a simple way. The completion of this project is of great importance because the knowledge provided in it serves as a basis for the implementation of automated systems with similar benefits. This work is very helpful since it fulfilled the main objective, which was to replace the existing technology for another that was more feasible and economical for the country.

Sprayer Automation Project for Variable Application

In this research, a system was developed that uses low-cost elements for the variable application of pesticide in citrus fields. A hardware and software architecture is proposed for the automation of an air-assisted phytosanitary spray system. The designed prototype allows the detection of bushes in the furrow using ultrasonic sensors and doses pesticide where there is presence of bush foliage. A set of experiments was carried out that corroborate the coherence of the aforementioned proposal, as well as the correct functioning of the bush detection algorithms proposed in this work. The experimental evidence was obtained as a result of close work with the Various Crops Company “Victoria de Girón” of Jagüey Grande in the province of Matanzas and in turn, with the Comprehensive Automation Company (CEDAI), which will be in charge of generalizing . the results obtained

I was also in charge of teaching the Industrial Processes subject to the Industrial Engineering degree. I made use of knowledge of Thermodynamics that was of great help for a better understanding of the behavior of the processes. They learned simple strategies for controlling variables such as temperature, pressure, volume and basic concepts that allow them to develop skills for future experiences in the industry.

I was in charge of teaching the subject of Electronic Materials and Components to the students of the Automatic Engineering degree. I taught them to design electronic circuits that responded to the required parameters, this helped them achieve a greater understanding of the behavior of the components and the different configurations. They achieved mastery of the Proteus software.
