I am truly honored and excited to apply for the CVS Health APPE program, as it represents a unique opportunity to deepen my understanding of patient-centered innovation within one of the nation’s leading healthcare organizations. As a fifth-year Pharm.D. student at MCPHS University, I have built a strong foundation in both clinical and community pharmacy practice. My bilingual proficiency in English and Korean has allowed me to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations, ensuring clarity and trust in healthcare delivery. Through my experience as a medical interpreter and clinical researcher at Samsung Medical Center in Korea, I gained valuable insight into interdisciplinary collaboration and evidence-based practice. Working as a pharmacy intern at both CVS Pharmacy and Walgreens has allowed me to gain practical insight into medication management, patient counseling, and operational efficiency in community pharmacy practice. These roles have taught me the value of accountability, teamwork, and adaptability in delivering high-quality care. I am genuinely excited about the opportunity to further develop these skills through CVS Health’s APPE program, where I can contribute to improving patient outcomes and supporting the organization’s mission to make healthcare more accessible and integrated.
