Work History
Project “Sampling Theory – From Euclidean to Spherical Geometry”
09.2024 - 05.2025
In this research project, I utilized Python and LaTeX to find optimal Sampling on Sphere. We extend the Shannon Sampling Theorem into Spherical space. This technique has board applications like compute molecular surfaces, network tomography, contributions of Spherical Harmonics to Magnetic and Gravitational Fields and compute redshift distortions in Astronomy. This research has strong connections between GPS system, MRI, Sonar, especially in research of wireless communication and driverless cars.
AI Conference: Department of Mathematics, University of Maryland
Date: 10/24-10/26, 2024
Actively engaged in an academic conference hosted at the University of Maryland featuring talks on harmonic analysis, deep learning (MLPs to Transformers), and Bilipschitz invariants. Joined discussions with a University of Pennsylvania professor on AI-driven literature analysis and with a Stanford professor on the importance of human-authored scholarship. Contributed to conversations on mitigating AI risks and exploring balanced, harmonic approaches to integrating AI into mathematical research and education.
