Research

  • Machine learning and artificial intelligence research for clinical medical image processing, with Dr. Victor Sheng, Texas Tech University. Firstly, developed a multi-task training approach for medical image analysis to reduce computational complexity. Secondly, improved segmentation performance through an conditional diffusion model, integrating a two-stream feature extraction(TSFE) network, to extrapolate a 3D images system from the generated 2D vessels.
  • Project supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China, with Prof. Weiwei Wu, Tsinghua University, Effect and mechanism of secreted frizzle-associated protein-5(sfrp5) on restenosis after endovascular therapy. Study on the prototype system and dynamic mechanism of femtosecond laser plasma thrombus ablation. Design and mechanism study of pulsed femtosecond laser thrombus ablation prototype system.
  • TEACH-Tsinghua database of vEnous thromboembolism prevention And Control in Hospital, with Prof. Weiwei Wu, Prof. Rongrong Zhu, Tsinghua University, Data Collection: including baseline demographic information, disease-related details, VTE risk assessment, preventive measures, laboratory test results, thrombus distribution, treatment plans, and prognosis follow-up information. Observational Indicators: VTE risk stratification adoption, VTE prevention measures, VTE incidence, thrombosis site distribution, incidence in specialized hospitals, VTE cases based on risk stratifications, and patient prognosis. VTE Risk Evaluation: Comprehensive VTE risk assessments was conducted using Caprini score, Padua score for different patient categories.
