• Since 2019, I have been leading investor relations (IR) strategy and communications at Hitachi, managing over 700 investor meetings annually. I provide in-depth analysis of investor information and insights to senior management, including the CEO.
• Lead IR strategy and communication efforts, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and investor expectations.
• Contribute to senior management’s decision-making by providing input on key financial metrics, including cash conversion improvements and ROIC enhancement initiatives.
• Oversee investor relations disclosure, including financial and non-financial information, with a particular focus on ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) factors.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for communication between senior management and investors, facilitating transparent and effective exchanges.

• In addition to handling media interviews at the executive level, I was involved in formulating of the mid-term management plan, and was mainly responsible for setting up global PR functions, in emerging markets: India, Thailand, Italy, Middle East, etc. and financial corporat edisclosure.
• Maximized media exposure for corporate events in China (Beijing, Dalian), Thailand, Riyadh, Italy and Sydney and involved in media development and local media outreach. Also, responsible for CEO presentation and key message preparation at local events.
• Implemented a new disclosure system in collaboration with finance and legal division, reducing overtime work by two-thirds during busy periods
• Wrote over 100 press releases in Japanese and English and prepared Q&As

• Assisted with external affairs in Hitachi City, Ibaraki
• Managed local media interactions in Hitachi City
• Conducted factory tours and explanations for local governments and the general public (approximately 150 tours over two years)
• As a factory that provides power generators, I was also involved in crisis communications in the aftermath of the Great East Japan Earthquake in 2011, which struck close to the site of the earthquake.
