• Measured keratin yield using analytical techniques and optimized the process to enhance the efficiency of extraction.
• Employed spectroscopic and chromatographic methods to characterize the physicochemical properties of the extracted keratin
• We were able to leverage statistical tools (Design Expert software) to optimize process parameters, analyzing their influence on yield and overall extraction performance.
• This resulted in improved yield, providing insights into cost-effective keratin extraction with potential for industrial applications.
