4. Manufacturing blanks for gaskets from various materials. Carrying out work on preparation for installation of auxiliary mechanisms, pipelines, valves.
5.Fuel operations.
1. Distribution and control of work for the working personnel.
2. Keeping watch in the engine room, preventive maintenance, control, regulation, setting operating parameters and servicing all engine room equipment with special attention to the main engine, auxiliary engines and mechanisms, boiler plant, compressors, various pumps, desalination, light and heavy fuel oil separators, oil separators, bilge separators.
3. Maintenance, repair of the hydraulic system. As well as other vital mechanisms, systems for the life of the crew and technical support of the vessel. And repair of all the above mechanisms.
4. Head of maintenance and repair of equipment: diesel generators, pumps, lifting equipment, compressor units, replacement of piston rings, various repairs of pumps.
5. Metalworking of parts: Disassembly, defect detection, repair, installation of shaft lines, bearings, propellers, compressors, gearboxes, refrigerators, auxiliary deck mechanisms with alignment tolerances.
6. Processing of supporting surfaces, foundations, wedges, gaskets.
7. Defect detection, repair, installation of heat exchangers, valves, other ship devices
8. Adjustment and commissioning of deck mechanisms.
9. Start-up and maintenance of auxiliary mechanisms, devices and heat exchangers during sea trials, detection of defects and their elimination.
My duties included:
- supervising and participating in the operation, maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment and machinery on board the vessel;
- providing fuel and other requirements of the engine room, maintaining records and accounting;
- performing technical supervision of the installation, maintenance and repair of the vessel's machinery and mechanisms in order to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations;
