5GAT PROGRAM: Carbon fiber 40' drone with two jet engines:

• Fabricated demo wing skins ribs, sheer webs, honey-comb cores and aluminum hard points in 3 months with a crew of 3 techs and 7 engineers for DOD program.
• Built full size mid-section of the fuselage, inlet-duct and applied conducive paint for radar signature and stealth testing.
• Mold preparation, Prep-perg application, Vacuum and oven cures. De-mold, trim/fit, assemble and bond.
• Maintained comprehensive documentation of process, quality assurance of materials, and inspection records for traceability purposes.

Manufacturing and production of Robinson Helicopter composite components. Helped with audits for process and procedures, FAA and OSHA.

• Achieved consistent compliance with industry standards such as AS9100 through diligent adherence to established procedures and protocols.

Viper Jet: Carbon fiber airframe.

• Performed bodywork on carbon parts, including reshaping and modifying fuselage components.
• Hydraulic line construction.

NXT Racing Airplanes manufactured Kits 6-10.

• 90% pre-perg. 10% wet lay-up. All carbon fiber. Manufactured complete air-frame including fuel cell.
• Designed and build our composite shop.

NXT Race Airplane Kit #4:

• Complete airframe build and fuel cell assembly and install.
• Complete carbon-fiber build in 2 years.
• Full race support at the Reno Air Races.

NXT Racing Airplanes. Training in Pre-Perf Manufacturing of structural parts and assembly. Assisted on kit #1 with wing install, fire wall and landing gear. My mentor and teacher was Jon Sharp.

Trans-AM Series Race cars. Complete composite support. Repairs, modification and paint.

Variety of carbon fiber parts.... mostly R&D. High rise manifolds for Honda V-tec engines and V-8's. Introduction to semi-percent releases, tooling boards, Pre-Perg's Nomex, and many other materials and process. Mentor and owner Walley Eshleman. His background was in skunkworks. Learned to build a composite shop.

Radon Sport Ocean Fishing Boats. Fiber glass hand lay-ups of hulls. 22ft cortez, Rock Harbor 25ft bounty. Did not like this style of composites.

My 1st composite job. As I was given instruction on basic fiberglass repair, I realized that i would be in the composite industry for the rest of my life.
