  The Emerging Leaders Scholars Program at Purdue University is a comprehensive, four-year initiative designed to support recipients of the Emerging Leaders Scholarship. Administered by the Office of Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging, the program offers a range of academic, professional, and personal development opportunities to help students maximize their potential during their undergraduate studies.
• Multicultural Science Programs Ambassador: Recognized as a Science Scholar in Purdue's second largest College (College of Science), I am an ambassador for the Multicultural Science Programs at Purdue University. I proudly represent and support initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the College of Science. In this role, I help mentor incoming students, assist with outreach events, and foster a welcoming environment for underrepresented students pursuing STEM fields. Through my involvement, I strive to build community and encourage academic success among all science majors.
• Member of Phi Mu Sorority: As a dedicated member of my Phi Mu chapter at Purdue, I have actively contributed to our philanthropic mission through consistent involvement in fundraising events and by serving on the philanthropy committee. In this role, I’ve helped plan and execute initiatives that support our national philanthropy, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, with a special focus on Riley Children's Hospital. My efforts have extended beyond planning—I've built meaningful connections with families from Riley, allowing me to see firsthand the impact of our work. These experiences have deepened my commitment to service and strengthened my bond with the chapter and its values.
• Purdue University Dance Marathon: As a member of Purdue University Dance Marathon (PUDM), I am part of a passionate student-led movement dedicated to raising funds and awareness for Riley Hospital for Children. I actively participate in fundraising efforts, campus events, and the annual marathon, all of which celebrate the strength of the kids and families we support. Being part of PUDM allows me to make a meaningful impact while uniting with others who share a commitment to service and pediatric healthcare.

• Senior Class President: As senior class president, I took on a leadership role that involved organizing and overseeing multiple major events for our graduating class, including Senior Dinner and Senior Sunrise. I worked closely with school administration through the Principal's Advisory Council, allowing for direct and meaningful communication to advocate for student interests. Additionally, I served on the mascot adoption committee, where I helped lead the initiative to select and introduce a new symbol of school spirit, fostering lasting pride and unity within our community.
• Junior Class Vice President: As junior class vice president, I had the responsibility of leading the planning and execution of major events, including Midwinter and Prom. I worked closely with fellow officers and committees to ensure that these events were memorable and ran smoothly, from selecting themes and venues to organizing decorations and activities. This role enhanced my leadership and event-planning skills while allowing me to collaborate with both students and faculty to create experiences that brought our class together and left lasting memories.
• National Honor Society (Member): As a member of the National Honor Society, I was committed to upholding the core values of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. I participated in various service projects that supported both my school and local community, demonstrating a strong dedication to helping others. Through NHS, I also collaborated with fellow high-achieving students to promote academic excellence and integrity, while continuously challenging myself to grow as a leader and role model.
• Varsity Volleyball and Track: As a member of both the varsity volleyball and track teams, I developed strong teamwork, discipline, and time management skills while balancing academics and athletics. Competing at the varsity level challenged me to push my limits, stay committed, and support my teammates both on and off the field. These experiences shaped my leadership abilities and taught me the value of perseverance and resilience.
• GREIA Tutor: As a GREIA tutor for middle school students, I had the opportunity to support young learners in developing their academic skills, particularly in areas such as math and reading. I worked closely with students to tailor lessons to their individual needs, helping them build confidence and improve their understanding of challenging concepts. My role as a tutor allowed me to foster a positive learning environment, encouraging curiosity and academic growth while strengthening my communication and leadership abilities.
• Spanish Honor Society: As a member of the Spanish Honor Society, I was dedicated to promoting the appreciation and understanding of the Spanish language and culture. Through this organization, I participated in various cultural events and community service projects, while also working to maintain a high level of academic achievement in Spanish. Being a part of the Spanish Honor Society allowed me to deepen my knowledge of the language and foster connections with like-minded peers who shared a passion for linguistic and cultural exploration.
• Spring Musical: Participating in the spring musical allowed me to further develop my communication and mentoring skills in a collaborative, creative environment. Whether on stage or behind the scenes, I worked closely with cast members and crew, helping to ensure the smooth production of the performance. Through this experience, I not only improved my ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people but also had the opportunity to mentor newer participants, offering guidance and support as they navigated the rehearsal process. This experience enhanced my teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving abilities, while also allowing me to express myself artistically.
• Peer Mentor: As a peer mentor during my senior year of high school, I had the privilege of guiding a group of freshmen through their transition to high school. I served as a reliable resource and a trusted person they could approach for advice, support, or just to talk. This role allowed me to build meaningful relationships, helping them navigate academic challenges, social situations, and personal growth. Through mentoring, I developed strong communication skills, empathy, and leadership abilities, while also fostering a sense of community and inclusivity among the younger students.
• Spirit Club: As a member of the Spirit Club, I played an active role in boosting school spirit by organizing and participating in events that energized our student body. Whether it was leading cheers at sporting events, organizing pep rallies, or coordinating themed spirit days, I worked to create an atmosphere of excitement and pride at our school.
