SICU (Main Campus)

• Administer oral, IV medications, breathing tx & blood products, assess & monitor pt's conditions (lab, tele, ICP, VS & UO), obtain lab, UA/Urine & blood culture, care pt on mechanical ventilation (inline suction & oral care), assess, monitor & care for wounds, surgical drains (EVD, JP, Penrose) & surgical incision (craniotomy, colostomy, etc), assist Aline, CVC insertion/US guide IV, insert & provide foley care

ER (Episcopal Campus)

• Initiate IV, administer oral and/or IV medications and/or breathing tx, & blood products, assess & monitor pts’ conditions (lab, tele, & VS), & communicate with physicians, obtain lab & urine sample, perform CPR/EKG, assist intubation & central line insertion, foley insertion

• Administer IV/PO medications, & blood products, monitor pts' conditions (lab, tele, & VS), perform EKG & blood sugar check, assess, monitor wounds & provide wound care, communicate with MD, PT, OT, SS, and family members

• Care for vent/trach collar dependent pts, administer medications/TPN via mouth, PEG tube or IV (PICC/mid line), provide colostomy/wound/trach/biliary drain/foley care. Communicate with physicians regarding pts' care
