I am an aspiring medical physician with a strong foundation in sciences, hands-on clinical experience, and a passion for service. I’m driven by a deep curiosity about the human body and a commitment to caring for others. Whether in clinics, community outreach, or research, I aim to grow, contribute, and make a meaningful impact in the field of medicine. Always eager to connect, collaborate, and learn from others on this journey!
I’ve shadowed doctors across neurosurgery, psychiatry, ophthalmology, and pulmonology, and each experience gave me a deeper look into how care is delivered in real-life settings. From watching brain scans with Dr. Gigante to ICU rounds with Dr. Rana, I’ve seen firsthand the impact of focused, compassionate medicine — and it’s only made me more excited to be part of it!
I’ve been fortunate to take part in service experiences that shaped my perspective and values.
In Cape Town, South Africa, I worked with Inspire Islamic Relief to support orphans and vulnerable families to distribute essential aid through community outreach.
One of the most meaningful experiences was attending The Winter Dowra in Tarim, Yemen, an intensive spiritual retreat that deepened my understanding of Islamic scholarship and personal reflection.
Back home in New Brunswick, I help lead weekly food distributions with La Cocina, serving over 100 families and building trust in the local community.
At the New Brunswick Islamic Center (NBIC), I’ve helped lead summer camps, youth programs, clothing drives, and public health efforts like vaccine and blood donation drives — all aimed at giving back to our community.
As a board member of Muslims in America, I help plan biweekly youth nights and community events, focusing on connection, mentorship, and shared values.
