• Researching to identify how neuron connectivity, physiology, and function vary to generate the sex- and species-specific courtship song behaviors. Both wet lab and dry lab were included to explore the behaviors and establish a visual form of neurons.

• Researching and experimenting on the invasive Harris mud crab species and the native species to find out how genetics affects their ability to osmoregulate. Investigating whether osmoregulation is an adaptation or an exaptation. Trained to use an osmometer to measure the salinity of solutions.

Employed as a student assistant at Texas A&M University in the area of Physics and Astronomy. Led recitation sections for the Physics 202 class. Deliver lectures to students and address questions that students might have during their studies. Conducted three recitations sections per week with 8-10 students for each section.
