I obtained administrative experience by accepting a promotion to the executive team at Glenwood Medical Associates in 2015. I led a 27-member team of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Registered Medical Assistants, a Work Comp Case Manager, and Unlicensed Assistive Personnel. I was the direct assistant to an accomplished, dual-certified Internal Med / Family Practice physician. My daily duties included:

• Recording patients' medical history, vital statistics, and test results in medical records.
• Delivering high-quality and compassionate treatment to highly complex patients transitioning from inpatient to outpatient care.
• I coordinated comprehensive, outcome-driven primary care for patients of all ages.
• This high-complexity, high-volume practice was consistently caring for 22 or more patients per day. I also managed the practice while Dr. Hesse was practicing as a hospitalist.
• Performed nursing assessments and collected patient medical histories to help determine the proper diagnosis.
• Prepared charts for clinic patients, gathering hospital records, and test results.

My first position in nursing was to assist the director of nursing in establishing a successful triage department. My achievements and responsibilities included:
