As an elementary Spanish teacher, I design and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that develop students’ listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills in Spanish. I cultivate a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation and fosters respect for Hispanic cultures by integrating music, art, traditions, and celebrations into instruction. I differentiate lessons to meet the diverse needs of all learners—including English language learners and students with special needs—ensuring that every child feels supported and successful. I regularly assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments, using the data to inform and adjust instruction. Among my accomplishments is the development of lesson plans that effectively support both native Spanish speakers and beginners, creating an accessible and enriching learning experience for all students.
