Official commendation

I received an award based on my efforts during an investigation regarding a mentally disabled juvenile who could not speak. 

Official Commendation

I was awarded with an Official Commendation for a high risk operation involving a gang related subject known to possess dangerous weapons who was highlighted on a local most wanted page. With my quick thinking and decisive actions I successfully apprehended the suspect without injury to any civilians.

Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal

I was awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for my superior performance of my duties while serving as an Administrative Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge. During this period I served as Administrative Chief for six months for the largest battalion within Combat Logistics Regiment 1. This billet is held by a Staff Non-Commissioned Officer (2+ ranks above my rank). I oversaw over 1,500 official documents. I also served as the Battalion Adjutant during a training exercise, "Steel Knight" which is a billet held by an Officer not an enlisted Marine but through my efforts, we were successful during this mission. 

Certificate of Commendation

I was awarded a Certificate of Commendation for my selection of 4th Marine Division's Marine of the Quarter. This award includes displaying exceptional military bearing, professional knowledge, and command presence by setting an example and demonstrated my worth of the title. 

Hickman-McGinty Criminology Scholarship

I was selected and awarded a $1,000 scholarship following my Police Academy graduation for my motivation, leadership, dedication to education, and commitment to my community.
