Throughout my career, I have a record of developing engaging content and improving student skill acquisition, especially in the area of reading fluency and comprehension. Adept at data base decision making, collaborative teamwork, prioritizing tasks, and shifting intellectual gears to accommodate new demands and meet deadlines, as demonstrated while employed by the Archdiocese of Washington DC. I bring a blend of intellectual curiosity, strong work ethic, and adaptability to meet the needs of my students, as well, as my work community. My teaching interventions consistently enhanced student outcomes across all domains, but especially, early reading acquisition and comprehension.

  • Met with students with learning disabilities and identified as at risk of failure to provide additional instruction and support to improve reading and writing acquisition skills grades K-5 and middle school students in writing and reading skills across the curriculum.
