I have over 45 years of experience of working in the medical field that includes working in hospital medical records and other departments as well as behavioral health, manufacturing business at Kenny Manufacturing , IV company, nursing home as the marketing and admissions director, Communication Educator Coordinator for behavioral health units and Patient Care Representative for a Hospice Homecare Company. I have organized events such as health fairs and expos, facilitated networking meetings, lunch and learns and symposiums. Contacted referral sources including hospitals, doctor's offices, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, residential care facilities, non-skilled care agencies, home health agencies, pharmacies, and durable medical supply companies. My responsibilities are to get referrals, meet with the patients and families one-on-one and talk about palliative care and or Hospice care and transitional care management. Once we meet with the families we do what's called a goals of care and it's our responsibility to put all the information into the computer so they can be dispersed to our nurse practitioners and other nursing staff so that they can take that information and go see the patient and have a better understanding of what's going on with them before they meet with the families and patients. We do follow up with the patients and families. IT and weekly meetings at the office in Searcy along with IDT meetings that are monthly with the nurse practitioners. Enter information into the computer so that the staff will know information about the patient that we are seeing. My counties that are responsible for at thare time is Jackson County, Woodruff County, Poinsett County and White County.

My role was to hire people for special events at the convocation arena in Jonesboro. I worked very closely with the director of the convocation arena who was responsible for letting me know what events we're coming. I hire people that worked concession stands to putting down the floor, setting up chairs, putting up props, working the crowd , making sure that they found their seats, any position that needed to be hired for during an event is who I was responsible for. Those employees were my responsibility so when they did not do their job my responsibility was to fire them. I could hire as many as one person or up to hundreds for an event depending on what it was.
