I currently work as a forklift driver loading and unloading flatbed 18-wheelers as well as flatbed hotshots, dry vans and covered wagons. I also handle paperwork such as BOLs, delivery notes, etc.

I built pallets to send to various stores in the region by picking with both a sit-down forklift and cherry picker extensively. I picked small parts all the way up to multi-ton commercial AC units. I also loaded trucks using a sit-down forklift. I used a Zebra RF scanner to pick, and I wrapped and staged finished pallets. I was one of the most productive pickers in the warehouse consistently.

My main duties included loading up my truck, using a Zebra RF scanner/computer to complete deliveries, and delivering 120-180 packages in an efficient, timely manner, as well as interacting with customers.

I worked both inside the store and as a delivery driver. My inside duties included answering phones, assisting customers, preparing/cutting the pizzas/other products, preparing ingredients at the start of each day, and general housekeeping. I communicated effectively with both my supervisors and the customers about any problems or complaints.

My duties included transporting valuable frozen and cooled goods with Yale stand-up forklifts while adhering to safety protocols and procedures, loading and unloading trailers while being careful to not damage the product, staging outbound and inbound pallets in an efficient, organized manner, and working with case lists, BOL's, and both inbound and outbound trailer inspection sheets, and taking temperatures for frozen and cooled goods in an efficient and timely manner.

I was proficient at pack out operations and my productivity was consistently among the highest among all the pickers in the warehouse. I was certified on Raymond sit-down forklifts and Crown stand-up forklifts. I used Zebra RF scanners and the RedPrairie computer system. I was also trained in putaway operations and Will Call. I loaded trailers with a pallet jack and forklift, and I worked on an LTL dock.
