Summary

I am a devoted Site Reliability Engineer responsible for handling mission critical servers with great experience building out large scale configuration management and monitoring solutions for enterprise infrastructure supporting windows and linux. I am certified in both LFCS with a CCNA. I have used configuration management for automation with Chef and Ansible and am now studying Kubernetes as well as earning a certification in AWS Cloud. I am an effective communicator, and I enjoy learning and teaching others. I am ready to help automate your stack and get into compliance following guidelines on SLI's/SLO's and SLA's while working safely throughout the CI/CD process to ensure Dev/Test/Prod environments are working as expected and better. I am a team player, individual contributer, and can also lead teams on tasks involving large projects. If you can give me 15 minutes of your time I can explain why I may be a great candidate for your role. Thank You!

Work History

Owner

Z Team Blu Ray Production
05.2024 - Current

A small business Blu Ray Production company. I have made thousands of Blu Rays for clients using my automated equipment stack. So it is a simple side business I run for myself. I have recently handed off most of the work to my employee so I am now ready to get back into the workforce doing IT.

NOC Engineer

Epson
09.2023 - 06.2024

- Configured a Datadog monitoring solution to replace SolarWinds for thousands of servers implementing with Ansible on CentOS Linux servers.

- Built Custom Dashboards to monitor server health

- Monitored Control M Jobs working with offshore at night.

- Secondary job responsibilities included resetting user passwords and account access for equipment authorization at Epson Warehouses.

It was a very easy job, and I could very well do an SRE role but I enjoy working in a NOC because I am not oncall... However that being said I took overtime whenever someone needed it as I enjoy working.
