With a diverse background encompassing experience as a college football player, a coach, and an NFL agent's intern, I possess a unique blend of on-field expertise and behind-the-scenes industry insight. My firsthand understanding of the game, combined with my exposure to contract negotiation, player representation, and the intricacies of the NFL, positions me as a well-rounded and capable candidate for a career as an NFL agent. My ability to connect with players, leverage my coaching insights, and navigate the complex landscape of player contracts and endorsements equips me to guide and advocate for clients effectively, ensuring their success both on and off the field.
Upon the conclusion of my playing career, I decided to move over to the coaching side. I was offered a role as a Special Teams Assistant under Head Coach Brent Pry. I work closely with our head coach, our Special Teams Coordinator and our Special Teams Analyst daily, helping with film breakdown, gameplanning, recruiting and on-field coaching. I am gaining valuable experience every day on how to deal with players, from a new perspective, which is adding another great value for me.
During my internship with a top NFL agent, I played an integral role in supporting various aspects of player representation and management. My responsibilities included assisting with contract negotiations, conducting research for endorsement opportunities, managing communication between the agent and players, and organizing logistical arrangements for player events. I also contributed by analyzing player performance data, researching market trends to inform contract negotiations, and maintaining organized records of key player information. Through my dedication and meticulous attention to detail, I significantly streamlined communication processes and enhanced the overall efficiency of the agency's operations.
I decided to transfer from Rice and committed to play at a Power 5 school; Virginia Tech. After sitting out the 2020 season due to transfer rules, I served as the backup kicker for the 2021 and 2022 season. I was able to build close, personal relationships with numerous NFL draft picks, including two first round picks. These relationships will be extremely valuable for me going forward in the sports and entertainment industry.
I was offered a full scholarship to kick for Rice University out of high school. As a true freshman, I was able to earn the starting job and played against teams like Baylor, Texas and Wake Forest. I was able to establish powerful relationships with countless coaches and players, which became an asset for me moving forward.
