Over the past 3 years, I've grown into an Electrician under my father's company. My father has put me threw the ringer in the Electrical field, often putting me under a lot of pressure, exceeding what I originally thought I was capable of, proving myself wrong when completing the work. Over the last 3 years, I've worked at 892 different job sites tracked in House Call Pro, my scheduling app provided to me. Throughout those jobs, I've worked in hundreds of different situations, falling behind in some but excelling at most. Working with my co-workers is what I love most because of the team aspect. I'm attending school at Total Package Hockey Academy, which helps me thrive in team aspects. I have played hockey for the past 13 years of my life, but ultimately ending my career after shoulder surgery this December, Hockey and Electrical taught me that being a team is the most important aspect to any environment/situation. At this point, you might be wondering why I'm not continuing my electrical career, since I have 600+ hours in. This past week, on May 27th, my dad suddenly passed away, and I knew I had to start looking for another career path to get me back into the ropes of what I previously followed. Over the past 3 years, I've spent countless tanks of gas making my way over to Home Depots across Colorado with my co-workers and father. Home Depot is my home away from home. I know the store layout like the back of my hand and have had various projects that all start from Home Depot. I want to become a Home Depot employee because I always get a nostalgic feeling walking in, knowing I have another good day of work ahead, so why not start my day there and end it there?
