Watching/playing sports in free time for both fun and to increase knowledge of the sport itself

When I'm not in lectures or doing out-of-class assignments, I watch live broadcasts or even previous broadcasts of sports games to get a better understanding of why things do and don't work at the time they are used. Football is my best example of this. I have countless hours of scouting college players over the last few years and have found a couple of hidden gems before they have even played an NFL game. Film analysis/breakdown is also a regular activity of mine within this category.
