Accomplished and seasoned Outside Sales Representative with a 10+ year track record selling roughly $100 million in building materials across the state of Texas. I was born and raised in Austin, Texas where I have spent my career. I bring strong construction experience, many contacts throughout the industry, and an enormous will to succeed.
I'm a confident speaker with strong communication skills, knowing when to be quiet and listen. Professional and approachable with a calm demeanor and a sense of humor. I'm a team player, natural leader, and I love people.
Currently, I function as an outside sales rep, focusing on driving commercial ceiling business for my region. My product category dictates whether we win a job more so than the commodities we sell. When our manufacturer is not the basis of design in the spec, I work with the installing contractors, GC, and/or Architect to get our products approved as an equal or VE option.
As an OSR I had specific accounts that I managed. Ranging from small to large commercial contractors, GC's, Home Builders, and residential drywall contractors; Single family and Multifamily.
Job responsibilities included:
My first OSR roll began about a year and a half after starting with this company. I had a small book of business of residential contractors, many of whom I worked with as an inside rep. In about 2 years, I doubled my business and was averaging $1.2 million per month is sales.
Job Responsibilities:
- open new accounts, grow active accounts, and revive dead accounts.
- cultivate strong relationships with customers and vendors
- gather market intel to report back to management.
- manage issues with products, service, etc.

2020 Lighthouse award - Beacon Building Products
Won both phases of Oracle Austin Headquarters, Kalahari resort, and Austin Energy HQ to name a few high profile projects.
Family is an important part of my life. I have a fairly large extended family with roots in Construction, Architecture, Banking, and Education.
My Uncle was Valedictorian at Texas A&M school of Architecture who spent most of his career in Austin. My Grandpa was a Colonel who had a successful banking career in Texas after retiring from the Army.
My Twin brother who is now an estimator in steel construction in the Austin Market, also worked for multiple home builders after retiring from professional baseball. Our list of contacts together are a great advantage and it continues to grow.
We are both recently married with kids and I feel a tremendous amount of purpose and drive thanks to my family.
I love the outdoors and I've always been highly active with a broad range on hobbies. such as Baseball, Motorcycles, Skiing/ snowboarding, Watersports, Hunting, Fishing, and Golf to name a few of my favorites. I have found that it is easy to connect with people, because of my broad interests and hobbies.
