As a work volunteer for UIWTV, I would personally work with the operations director and help with audio, transitions, and uploading the script for the upcoming newscasts.
There were also moments where I was a camera operator for both in-studio and live-shot broadcasts. In the studio, I would work on the cameras and focus them on the news anchors. For live-shots, me and the reporter would go to a location and I would set-up the camera so the footage can be transferred back to the studio.
As copyeditor for Quirk literary magazine, I looked over the submissions of creativity works from all over the country, especially for the Poetry section.
I would go over the creative works, make the decision to whether have the work in the literary magazine or decline.
Once, we were done selecting the works, we would go over the specific creative works and make sure the grammer, spacing, and formatting is good.
