Working for Kings Daughters Hospital has helped me learn proper phone etiquette, empathy while listening to patients and being patient with them as I helped them out with any problem they had. I was taught multiple skills with learning how to create a patient chart which included address, insurance information, etc. I learned how to put in refill requests and ensure that the patient was due for their refills otherwise it was not appropriate timing for their medications. Communicated with nurses in the same work place to help with getting the patient to them if a nurse was needed on the phone. Worked with the nurses to make sure that patient's with different issues were taken care of in priority of issue presented.
I had worked three separate roles as Groundskeeper, Housekeeper and Laundry Attendant for the hotel.
