I was a lead mate on a rowboat.

I ensured crew was up to date with all safety regulations, proper up keep of vessel and living quarters, as well as trained new hire orientations in office while I was on my two weeks off. Late I moved into a company training mate postion where the company would send mates to my vessel to learn how to be a 3rd mate, for crew managment, work managment, budgets, and ensure the safety of the crew, the vessel, and all cargo rigging.
