As Lead Extraction Technician I am responsible for hydrocarbon extraction of biomass as well as traceability, research and development, and post processing. I have taken my combined lab experience to help improve process SOPs; as well as calculate and evaluate costs. My past experience has allowed me to help reduce cost and maximize efficiency in a quantifiable way within the current job structure. Concious Ventures LLC has reached a ceiling for growth, and I am doing everything within my ability to help them break through their ceiling and obtain their growth goals.

I was responsible for prepping, cutting, and setting tile work for a large scale residential and commercial tile company. This was a very fast paced and physical job which I really enjoyed doing. My attention to detail and punctuality made me a wonderful fit for this job. I'm a very quick learner, and have a fairly good understanding of power tools and measurements which made this job come naturally. I truly believe that there's nothing I'm not capable of if I put my mind to it, and C and J Tile was very supportive in giving me the tools needed to learn how to become a master in this position.

• In the Raw Materials department I am responsible for extracting and processing histamines for injectable immunotherapy pharmaceuticals. These raw materials go through several different extraction processes, and as an end result we obtain several different types of histamines. These raw material extracts come from extraction of wasp venom, animal danders, pollens, house dust, cockroaches, and mites of different varieties. This job requires a lot of accuracy as well as multitasking and attention to detail. My responsibilities include data entry, sanitization of equipment, preparation of equipment, knowledge of standard operating procedures, execution of standard operating procedures, and thorough cleaning to ensure sterility of injectable extracts.

• As Chemist I/Lab Technician my duties primarily consisted of analytical instrumentation and chemical analysis of water and spoil samples for both public and private customers. Some examples of what testing I was responsible for include analysis of anions via EPA method 300.1, Hardness by EDTA titration, pH of water and soil, conductivity and resistivity of water and soil, total residual solids of soil, compost maturity, ABV and IBU of alcohol, short path distillation, rotary evaporation, salmonella and e.coli presence in food and water, and total residual Chlorine and free Chlorine in water. As Chemist I/Lab Technician it was my duty to provide reliable data to our customers in a timely manner to which I could say to the best of my ability was accurate and honest.

• As the Lab director at Altus Laboratories I was responsible for hydrocarbon extraction of raw material biomass, column chromatography, short path distillation of solvents and extracts, as well as concentrate crystallization, and post processing. Working alongside extraction technicians, I was responsible for researching and developing the most efficient and safe standard operating procedures within the lab. Troubleshooting, establishing quality standards, staff compliance, equipment repair, and product traceability were just a few of our main points of focus. As Lab Director I was the first and last eyes on any project at any given time. I worked on and oversaw our processes from start to finish from our biomass being loaded and extracted to preparing test samples which would later go to an analytical testing lab for potency, microbial growth, terpene, and residual solvent testing.

• As an extraction technician I was responsible for hydrocarbon extraction of biomass and post processing. I took my ambition and knowledge from Altus Labs, and was able to expand my skill set. Working here I expanded my knowledge of hydrocarbon extraction, hexane and heptane recrystallization, filtration and purification, and both short path and falling film distillation.

• As an extraction technician I was thought how to run standard operating procedures for hydrocarbon extraction, short path distillation, rotary evaporation, and post processing ultimately sparking my passion for science and lab work. My job was essentially to load and extract plant biomass as quickly and efficiently as possible while striving to produce high yield and high potency extracts. I would later post process the extracts to remove residual solvents to pass analytical testing per Washington states parts per million allowable residual solvent limits. Throughout this process I was also responsible for tracking from start to finish waste product and concentrate amounts through Washington states traceability system.
